KC Kalman was born in Austin, TX and has lived there his whole life.  He is familiar with the Central Texas area that surrounds Austin and the outlying hill country.  He currently lives just north of Austin on a 5 acre homestead.  He came into permaculture via Jack Spirko with http://www.thesurvivalpodcast.com.   Part of Jack’s podcast included permaculture as a recurring theme in creating self-sustainability.  When Jack partnered with Geoff Lawton in offering an online Permaculture Design Course, KC enrolled.    Having recently gained certification as a Permaculture Designer, he is eager to help others in realizing true abundance.
